Shabelle has reported today an explosion that has killed 4 Kenyan soldiers and wounded many more.

The explosion is said to have taken place close to the Kismayo airport, Lower Jubba Region, LJ[1].

Kenyans are said to have closed the area to find culprits.

Kenyans or African Union Mission in Somalia did not discuss about the event.

Shebab forces, Shebelle has reported on November 5, 2012, threw mortars to the port of Kismayo, LJ. According to Shabelle, causing uncounted loss of life property damages[2].

Ships were at the time docked, according Shabelle, carrying weapons for Kenyan army in the area.

A mine has exploded in a residential road in Nairobi Kenya, wounding 3, two critically, as reported by China Daily[3]. The police have sealed the area, which is predominantly inhabited by people of Somali origin, and major manhunt is said to have been under way.

Somali National Security Agencies have carried a major operation around the international airport in Mogadishu, as reported by Hiiraan.com[4]; some people whom they were after, were apprehended. Security officials, quoted by Hiiraan.com, stated that they will continue their operations until the city is freed from those who create insecurities.

A man who worked as accountant for Kismayo administration has been killed in the city by unknown gunmen, as reported by Hiiraan.com[5].  No one talked about the event, including the city officials.
