Twin Explosions Kill three: two attackers and a guard.

Reuters reported two contradictory accounts; on one handsuicide, it stated, bombers opened fire on guards of a sophisticated restaurantin Mogadishu, and then they have managed to enter the restaurant; afterwardstwin explosions were heard inside the restaurant[1].

Another account states that bombers fought with guards, and then they were denied access to the restaurant. So, they belowthemselves up in front of the restaurant.

So, both of them cannot be correct, one of them must befalse.

Two witnesses, including Reuters witness, have reportedthat they saw three bodies. Local Somali sites reported, including Hiiraan, thebodies were those of the bombers and a guard.

Three people handled this report, as can be seen in the reference, one reported, one wrote and then one edited it, yet contradictions were left unresolved. What do you think mistakes of reporting that can be done by sites managed byone person?
There is also a pressure of reporting as early aspossible, for the news has value to the extent it is fresh.

Don’t take all reports at face value, verify them. Unfortunately, most people don’t have time to do so.

It is also worthwhile to mention that Somalia has received more Aid promises from European Union, allowing the government to have more resources to accomplish its security and development plans.

With more funds to manage the government ought to become more transparent, by publishing its financial statements, starting with most recent one passed by the parliament. VOA has reported that members of parliament will receive stipends and salaries totaling $2,000; this is happening, assuming stipends and salaries of security service remains the same, while security forces are making $160 a month.
